Case Study Tells a Real-World Story
If your business is targeting a particular industry vertical a case study explainer video can be an effective way to tell potential customers in that vertical what your product can do for them. That was the approach we took to create this animated video for ReactorNet’s Epro software. Epro is a cloud based procurement software service for large companies with multiple locations that may be in different cities. Epro allows each location a central cloud-based tool to purchase supplies, equipment, and services, giving them many advantages in terms of greater buying power and centralized reporting. While the software can work for many industries ReactorNet is currently having great success in the hotel industry. With this in mind we created a case study based on an actual customer. The script describes the problems they had and how Epro was the solution. The actual customer realized a significant savings in the first year. This was an ideal way to tell other companies how the software can do the same for them.
Real Stories are Best
How It Works Media created this fun, engaging explainer video to tell the story of Steve, our fictional hotel management executive and the success his company had with the software. We didn’t name the actual customer of course but the important thing is this story is real. While many explainer videos tell a hypothetical story of a prototype customer representing their target market our video was about a real company using the software.
People Like to See Themselves
The great value of this approach is that the target audience can relate to a character that is facing the same problems they experience. In short, they can relate. So if the problem is one they share, and even in their particular industry it’s a natural to see themselves also finding the same solution by using the product or service. In the future, when ReactorNet begins to focus on another vertical we will be able to approach it the same way.
